About Us
Our Purpose
The purpose of the 2222 Coalition of Neighborhoods Associations (2222 CONA) is to provide a forum for influencing development of the Austin 2222 Hill Country Corridor in a manner that benefits the people who live, work, and enjoy recreation in the 2222 Corridor and surrounding areas. Our focus is to encourage development that minimizes traffic safety problems, minimizes negative impact on the environment, preserves the natural resources, and blends aesthetically with the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country.
Members neighborhoods represent over 5,000 households and include Canyon Creek, Courtyard, Glenlake, Jester Estates, Long Canyon, River Place, Shepherd Mountain, The Preserve at Four Points, and Westminster Glen Estates.

Our Story
Over the years, 2222 CONA has played a significant role in shaping local development policy, such as supporting trip caps to limit traffic impacts, providing feedback on TxDOT’s Loop 360 and RM 2222 improvements, and participating in key redevelopment negotiations like the transformation of the former 3M campus into Highpoint 2222 by Karlin Real Estate. The coalition regularly collaborates with city officials, developers, and agencies to ensure that land use decisions reflect neighborhood priorities. It operates with an elected board and representatives from each member neighborhood, convenes public meetings, and serves as a key voice balancing growth with preservation of community character and safety in the RM 2222 corridor.
