Status:

The Ribelin Ranch PUD was allowed development and vehicle trips per day (VTD) staggered with improvements to RM2222. The Leander Independent School District has since purchased a portion of the PUD designated for residential for construction of a high school. The only access for the high school is planned to be off of RM2222, near the top of Tumbleweed Hill. CONA is trying to obtain information about the VTDs will now be allocated, and is raising the traffic safety concerns with TxDOT and other appropriate officials.

Actions Needed:

• Research how the sale of a portion of the PUD to LISD for a high school affects the traffic projections, flow, and safety.
• Continued monitoring of Colina Vista, Ribelin Ranch, and Rancho La Valencia applications and updates to ensure the shared driveway agreement is implemented.
